Bio: Charles Marsh is a Mercy College senior in the Music Industry + Technology program. This New York native is a music lover in every sense of the word. From the time Charles was eight years old, he has been singing and from sixteen years of age, he has been tickling the ivories. Being blessed with these gifts, Charles continues to perfect his craft by taking voice and piano lessons.
It seems to be odd that Charles did not come up in a musical family. However, the gifts that God has blessed him with have made room for him. Being self-taught on the piano and playing by ear has attracted the attention of others. Just recently, he accepted a job as a keyboardist for Pastor Kevin Griffin and has made contacts with the renowned keyboardist/pianist, Ray Chew.
During his early adolescent years, Charles was a member of the Citykids Repertory Company in New York City. In addition, he was a participant of the 2003 Summer Arts institute for choral performance, where he has gained his performing experience.
After graduation, he plans to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music. In the future, he plans to do the following: Performing to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, composing music for other artists and/or film, creating a record/production company called Priceless Treasures Music Ministry, creating an Arts school for disadvantage children, and last but not least, creating a community center.
