We briefly demonstrated two of the basic synthesizers found in Logic Pro. The ES-M is a mono synth that offers a simple EG that offers variable control of Decay Time only. This makes it most suitable for bassline and lead synth patches. The ES-P offers a mixer with several available waveforms, an LFO for vibrato or wah-wah effects and an ADSR EG. This makes the ES-P well-suited for polyphonic synth patches such as Electric Piano or Synth Brass patches. I demonstrated how to load the Logic synths onto the inputs of Instrument Tracks (which receive MIDI as the input and output digital audio).
