As a tracking engineer, I try to make the talent feel comfortable in front of the microphone. That often means adjusting my style to fit the situation and the needs of the talent so they can perform to their best ability. I bring a high level of professionalism to the project and producers I have worked with appreciate my ability to articulate technical issues, my keen attention to sonic details, and my strong musicality and enthusiasm.

I tend to take a "hands off" approach to recording: aside from the occasional use of compression, I try to avoid using signal processing during recording, preferring instead to get a solid, highly-usable sound from each source by putting the right microphone in just the right spot.

As a mixing engineer, I fit my approach to the musical requirements. Mixes I have done range from the sublimely naturalistic, to edgy, in-yo-face, multi-layered and heavily processed.
